The rector of the Academy of Business and Technology visited London as part of a business tour and took part in the innovative technologies exhibition week.
The event was attended by delegations from many countries of the world, including representatives of business and education.
Acquaintance with technological innovations, analysis of modern trends and initiation of new cooperation - these were the main tasks of the visit.
Diplomatic meetings
As part of the tour, the Rector of the Academy visited the Embassy of Georgia in the United Kingdom together with the visitors. The delegation was hosted by Mr. Giorgi Saganelidze, Acting Ambassador.
At the meeting, attention was focused on the directions of education, innovation and business development. The embassy expressed its full support in strengthening Georgian professionals.
Georgian-British business environment and cooperation
As part of the visit, an official meeting was held with the founder of the Georgia-British Chamber of Commerce, Mako Abashidze, who hosted the guests in his own Georgian restaurant in London.
Perspectives of bilateral cooperation, current challenges and future joint initiatives were discussed.
Academy of Business and Technology collaborates with more than fifty companies and organizations. Companies actively participate in the internships of cooperating students and their subsequent employment.
